PAT Testing in Coalville, Leicestershire (Classroom)

PAT Testing training covers the in-service inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances, in line with the IET Code of Practice.

This course is delivered in a classroom and practical training area in Coalville, Leicestershire.

What it covers

The Electricity at Work Regulations and the duty to maintain electrical equipment, appliance classes and construction, formal visual inspection, combined inspection and testing procedures, use of PAT testing instruments, interpreting results, frequency of testing, and record keeping.

Who it is for

Those carrying out or managing portable appliance testing in their workplace. Some basic electrical knowledge is helpful but not essential.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a certificate.

After completing the course, learners can order their certificate directly from the provider.

To join online courses, delegates have to log in via a link provided through a computer or laptop with a camera, screen, microphone and access to the internet.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
