Safety Harness Inspection Course Overview

The Safety Harness Inspection course in Tonbridge is designed to provide learners with the competence required to carry out formal inspections of fall protection equipment (FPE) in the workplace. This specialist training focuses on ensuring equipment such as harnesses, lanyards and connectors are safe, compliant and fit for continued use.

Delivered as a half-day classroom-based course, the training combines theoretical instruction with practical exercises to develop the skills needed to identify defects, assess equipment condition and accurately record inspection findings. Learners are also introduced to relevant legislation and industry guidance to support safe working at height practices.

Assessment and Certification

Successful delegates will receive a Safety Harness - Inspection e-certificate accredited by Kentec Training and approved by IPAF, valid for a period of 3 years from the course date.

To remain certified, you will need to retake the full Safety Harness - Inspection course once again.

Course Duration

This is a half-day course, usually delivered over approximately 4 hours of training.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites, although a basic understanding of fall protection equipment is beneficial for learners attending this course.
