What is Stress Management?

Anyone who manages people should have an awareness of stress, including what work-related stress is, how it is caused, and the impact that it can have on the workplace. This online Stress Management course has been created to provide a suitable level of understanding for anyone looking to begin to understand so that they can address issues surrounding work-related stress.

Course Content

The Stress Management online course is split into 5 modules:

  • Module 1 – Introducing stress, what is it?
  • Module 2 – Legal, moral and financial arguments
  • Module 3 – Causes and signs of stress in the workplace
  • Module 4 – Ill-health associated with stress
  • Module 5 – Managing stress

These elements have been designed to cover the core concepts of stress, what stress is, why it is important to manage, common signs and side-effects, and a consideration for how to manage it.

Assessment

The course is assessed with a multiple-choice assessment completed on the online platform. Once you have worked through the course materials you will be prompted to take your assessment. You have 30 minutes to complete the assessment and 1 free re-take.

Certification

This course is certified by iAS, and your certificate is provided digitally upon successful completion of the final assessment.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

We have support access built into our learner platform, to allow you to contact our technical team or expert tutor depending on what you need.

Online Assessments

Where permitted by awarding and certificating bodies, we have included assessments within the learning platform. This means that selected qualifications from our range of IOSH e-learning, iAS, NEBOSH e-learning, and Approved Asbestos Awareness e-learning courses are able to be completed fully online.

Technical Support

Our technical support team are based in the UK and can be contacted via telephone and email during UK office hours for any issues or questions about our in-house developed software.

Tutor Support

Our NEBOSH and IOSH courses have expert tutor support available, should you have any issues developing your understanding of part of the course you are able to contact one of our tutors for assistance. Our tutors have been providing NEBOSH and IOSH training courses for over 28 years and are well equipped to help you if you get stuck at any point during your course.

Progress Tracking

All of our health and safety e-learning courses come with inbuilt progress tracking. For short courses like awareness courses, this may be in the form of a percentage bar that shows how far through the course you are, and for longer courses like NEBOSH certificates each unit will have its own progress bar. This allows you to see how much of the learning material you have covered, whether it’s for a 15 minute course, or a 110 hour course.

You will instantly receive a confirmation email with your order details and your course login details will follow within one business working day.

Please note that course bookings can not be processed over weekends or bank holidays and will be processed the next business working day.

Step 1

Step 2

Once you have paid for your course(s), you will receive an email from our team advising how to begin your training.

Step 3

You will be provided with a username and password which will enable you to access the e-learning portal. Login to start your course, once you have completed and passed the course, you will be able to download and print your certificate straight away.
