This course covers all aspects of working at height theory. The Working at Height Regulations are covered, along with many different types of equipment used.

Who is the Course For?

Anyone working at height in any context, for example on site, at home or in manufacturing.

Course Delivery

Classroom delivery at the training centre in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is a theory-only training session. Where practical training on specific access equipment is needed, such as mobile platforms, mobile towers or ladders, accredited courses that include practical training on a wide range of access equipment are run separately.

Half a day.

• Selection of appropriate equipment
• Requirements for the use of ladders and stepladders
• Requirements for the use of mobile towers
• Requirements for the use of harnesses
• Safety rails
• Inspection of equipment
• Emergency procedures

Completion of the Course

Delegates take a short written test. Successful delegates receive a training certificate and photo ID card.
