Workplace Compliance E-learning with UK and Irish Law Versions
Timely Intervention produces short-form compliance e-learning covering the ground most employers need to evidence across a whole workforce — health and safety basics, fire, food hygiene, information security, and the HR and ethics topics that sit alongside them. Two things distinguish the catalogue. Seven courses are published in separate Irish law versions, which is useful for organisations operating on both sides of the border and rare among UK e-learning providers. And nine role-based bundles group the relevant modules for a specific job, which saves picking through a course list to work out what a kitchen worker or a site manager actually needs.
Role-based bundles
Nine bundles built around a job rather than a topic: Office Worker, Employee Welfare, Team Management, Facility (Site) Manager, Working with Children, Kitchen Worker, Food Handlers for a retail food counter, Off-Licence Retail Worker, and Food and On-Licence Alcohol Server for hospitality. Each groups several individual modules. For inducting a new starter into a defined role, a bundle is usually both cheaper and more complete than assembling the same coverage course by course.
Workplace health and safety essentials
Health and Safety Foundation Level 1 and Understanding Health and Safety provide the baseline, with individual modules on slips and trips,
working with loads,
working at height,

Hazardous substances and building risks
COSHH is covered both generally and specifically for spillages.
Asbestos appears at two levels — awareness for anyone who might disturb it, and a managing version for the duty holder. Alongside those:
legionella, hand-arm vibration syndrome, and LPG safety. Note that awareness-level e-learning is appropriate for general staff but is not a substitute for the licensed or non-licensed asbestos training required of people carrying out the work itself.
Fire safety by role
Fire safety is split three ways — team members, marshals and managers — with the team member and manager versions also available under Irish law. Fire Door Safety Checks covers the routine inspection duty that has become considerably more prominent for responsible persons since the Fire Safety (England) Regulations came into force. E-learning suits the awareness element well, though marshals will still need practical extinguisher experience somewhere.
Food safety and hospitality
Food and Beverage Foundation, food allergies and intolerance, personal hygiene, and
HACCP cover the core. Two unusually specific practical modules address the equipment that actually causes kitchen injuries — meat slicer safety and kitchen knife safety. Food Hazards and Licensing Awareness are both provided in Irish law versions. Allergen training in particular is worth keeping current given how much has changed in labelling and disclosure requirements.
Information security and data protection
A fuller information security range than most safety-focused providers carry: cyber security essentials, data protection, GDPR, information security and security measures, protecting information, PCI DSS for organisations handling card payments, and exemptions to Freedom of Information for public sector bodies. Useful where one training budget has to cover both physical and information risk.
Security awareness and insider threat
Insider Threat Awareness for general staff and Creating an Insider Threat Detection Programme for the people designing the controls, plus Are you the Target? and Bomb Threat Awareness. This cluster is aimed at organisations with a physical security dimension — public venues, transport, critical infrastructure — rather than at general workplaces.
HR, ethics and inclusion
Anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, the Modern Slavery Act, anti-bullying and harassment, and dealing with grievance cover the mandatory-policy end. Disability Awareness is published in four versions — general and manager-level, each with a UK and an Irish edition. Essentials of Human Behaviour underpins the set. These are the topics most often required by a client contract or a tender response rather than by statute directly.
Health, first aid and infection control
First Aid Awareness is available in UK and Irish versions, alongside Essentials of Infection Control. Worth being clear on scope: awareness-level e-learning explains what to do and when to call for help, but it does not qualify anyone as a workplace first aider. UK or Irish law version?
Seven courses come in both editions: health and safety foundation, fire safety for team members and for managers, first aid awareness, food hazards, licensing awareness, and disability awareness at both general and manager level. The Irish versions reference Irish legislation and terminology rather than the UK equivalents. If you employ people in the Republic of Ireland, the UK version will teach the wrong statutory framework — check which edition you are buying before rolling it out.
