This Basic Scaffold Inspection (BSI) course in Manchester is designed for site managers, supervisors, and safety officers who need to carry out routine inspections of tube and fitting, system, and prefabricated access scaffolding. The course provides delegates with a thorough understanding of scaffolding types, components, and the legal framework governing scaffold inspection in the UK.
The BSI course is accredited by CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) and is delivered in a classroom format combining theory and practical assessment.

Who Is This Course For?
The BSI course is suitable for site managers, construction supervisors, project managers, and any person responsible for inspecting scaffolding or authorising its use on a construction site. No prior scaffolding experience is required.
Assessment and Certification
Delegates complete a multiple-choice examination and a practical inspection exercise. Successful candidates receive the CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection card, which is valid for five years.
This course is delivered by Morson Nexus at their Manchester training centre.
For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
To join online courses, delegates have to log in via a link provided through a computer or laptop with a camera, screen, microphone and access to the internet.
