CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTS-R) Course in Knowsley, Merseyside
This CITB SMSTS Refresher course is for those who hold the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)certificate and wish to update their knowledge and skills in line with current legislation. Successful attendees will receive a new Site Management Safety Training Scheme certificate, which is valid for 5 years. The SMSTS Refresher course covers The Health and Safety at Work Act and the regulations relevant to the construction industry.

Prerequisites
- The refresher course is only for delegates who have previously passed the 5-day SMSTS or subsequent refresher course, and hold a valid SMSTS certificate. Evidence must be provided to the training provider of their eligibility.
- If a copy of the certificate cannot be provided,CITB's Online Card Checker can be used to establish if a delegate currently holds a valid SMSTS certificate. Please use the card checker to obtain a screenshot showing the in-date SMSTS/SMSTS Refresher qualification on the delegate's profile.
- If an individual cannot be located on the system and no evidence of their certificate can be found, they will have to attend the full SMSTS course.
- Failure to attend the refresher course prior to the expiry of an existing certificate will require delegates to re-enter the scheme by completing the full SMSTS course if they wish to remain in the scheme
What to Bring
- All delegates must bring photographic ID (e.g. driving licence or passport).
- All delegates must bring their NI number.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
