What is the Employing Young People Course?
Hiring young workers carries duties that do not apply to the rest of the workforce, and the rules are easy to get wrong by accident. This course sets out who counts as a child and who counts as a young person, the limits on hours and night work, how age-related National Minimum Wage rates apply, and the risk assessment that has to be done before a young person starts rather than after something happens.
