Course Description
Get IPAF-certified to operate both Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b) MEWPs in a single course. This fully instructor-led course is delivered by accredited IPAF trainers, with no eLearning component. Delegates will learn about safe use, risk assessments, emergency procedures, and equipment checks, all aligned with current health and safety standards.
The course concludes with a theory assessment and a practical test conducted at our IPAF-approved centre. The course is ideal for construction workers, maintenance professionals, and warehouse staff who need to operate multiple categories of MEWP.
Certification
Delegates successfully completing the course will receive an IPAF Certificate and Powered Access Licence (PAL) now on the ePAL app, valid for 5 years. Option to upgrade to receive physical card is available during your booking.

What is ePAL?
IPAF's ePAL app is your new digital wallet to store and share your IPAF powered access licences and qualifications, including the PAL Card for mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), Mast climbing work platform (MCWP) and hoist operators. Competent Assessed Persons (CAP), MEWPs for Managers, Site Assessment (for MEWP Selection) all can be added.
