ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Course for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
This ISO 45001 Lead Auditor course is designed for professionals responsible for auditing occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS), as well as those managing and maintaining these systems within their organisation. It provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to maximise the effectiveness of internal and external audit processes.
Accredited by CQI IRCA, this course equips delegates with the confidence and competence to conduct first, second and third-party audits against ISO 45001. Training is delivered in line with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 standards, ensuring a thorough understanding of audit principles, planning, execution and reporting.
The course uses a range of interactive and engaging learning methods, combining theory with practical exercises to reinforce key concepts. Delegates will complete a CQI IRCA closed-book examination at the end of the course to demonstrate their understanding and auditing capability.
Course Details
The course runs daily from 09:00 to 17:00 and is delivered by experienced tutors with extensive auditing and industry expertise.

This course is ideal for auditors, health and safety professionals, and managers responsible for implementing, maintaining or auditing an occupational health and safety management system.
Prerequisites
Before attending, delegates should have a working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and commonly used terminology. An understanding of key management system concepts such as the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, risk-based thinking and the proactive management of health and safety performance is also recommended.
