NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence

Developed jointly by NEBOSH and the Health and Safety Executive, this one-day certificate addresses health and safety as a leadership issue rather than a technical one. It is built around the HSE's own research into what separates organisations with strong safety performance from those without.

The course is deliberately short and aimed at people who set direction. It does not teach risk assessment technique. It examines how leadership behaviour shapes safety culture, why good intentions at board level often fail to reach the shop floor, and what visible leadership actually looks like in practice.

Course Delivery

This course is delivered online as a live instructor-led session, designed to fit around senior management schedules.

Who Is This Course For?

Directors, senior managers, business owners and anyone with strategic responsibility for health and safety performance. It complements rather than replaces qualifications such as NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely.

Assessment and Certification

Delegates complete a short assessment and produce a leadership action plan. Successful delegates receive the NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence. Assessment fees are included in the course price.
