NEBOSH Fire Safety and IOSH Training — Manchester, Midlands and Online

KeyOstas delivers NEBOSH and IOSH across three centres and online, with the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety available both in Manchester and live online — a qualification far less commonly offered than the General Certificate. The IOSH range runs up to Safety for Executives and Directors, which suits organisations training at board level rather than only supervisors.

NEBOSH
The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety in classroom at Manchester and live online, and NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) at Manchester. Fire Safety covers fire risk assessment and management — relevant to anyone who has become the responsible person under the Fire Safety Order.
IOSH — supervisor to board level
IOSH Managing Safely in classroom at Bromsgrove and Southam and live online, with the Managing Safely Refresher online, plus IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors online. Browse all IOSH courses.
Why train directors separately?
Safety for Executives and Directors is a different course from Managing Safely, not a shorter version of it. It addresses governance, legal accountability and the board's role in setting culture rather than day-to-day risk assessment. Directors carry personal liability under health and safety law, and that responsibility is not discharged by having trained managers underneath them.
Fire Safety after the General Certificate?
The NEBOSH General Certificate is the broad foundation and comes first for most people. The Certificate in Fire Safety is a specialism taken alongside it, and it is the natural step for anyone responsible for fire risk assessment — particularly in premises with sleeping accommodation, complex evacuation or a duty under the Fire Safety Order. The two stack rather than compete.
