UKATA Duty to Manage Asbestos Course Online (Instructor-led)

Course Overview

A live online UKATA course for people responsible for managing asbestos in non-domestic premises under Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Delegates learn how to put together, run and maintain an effective asbestos management plan.

Building owners, facilities and estates managers, landlords and anyone named as the dutyholder for managing asbestos in a building.

Live online training with an SSG instructor, delivered by video conference. You will need a computer with a camera, microphone and a reliable internet connection.

Course Content

• The dutyholder role under Regulation 4
• Asbestos surveys: management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys
• Creating an asbestos register and management plan
• Sharing asbestos information with contractors and staff
• Monitoring, review and record keeping

Certification

Successful delegates receive a UKATA certificate, valid for three years, after which a refresher is recommended.
