BOHS P402 Surveying & Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings

BOHS P402 courses are specialised training programs offered by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) that focus on the survey and sampling of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). Aimed at professionals involved in building surveying, health and safety, and asbestos management, these courses provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct thorough asbestos assessments in various environments. Topics covered include the identification of ACMs, conducting surveys in compliance with legal requirements, and the proper methods for sampling and reporting findings. Completing the BOHS P402 course equips individuals to effectively manage asbestos risks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in their work settings.

P402 is the professional surveying qualification. The management-tier qualification is BOHS P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings. For duty-holder training see Duty to Manage Asbestos and Asbestos Risk Assessment. See the full Asbestos Awareness & Management range.
