We are Northern Counties Safety Group, an accredited health and safety training provider based in Durham. Established in 1972, we have spent over fifty years providing safety advice and training across the North East, and today support more than 80 member companies with advisory services alongside our open training programme.

We are accredited training providers for CITB, IATP and PASMA, and our courses run from our purpose-built training centre in Durham, which includes an air-conditioned classroom and an indoor scaffold inspection facility. Our programme covers a full range of health and safety subjects, from Manual Handling through to Temporary Works Coordination, along with first aid and asbestos awareness training.

Alongside training we provide technical services including scaffold design, noise and vibration assessments, face fit testing, portable appliance testing and display screen equipment assessments.
