Scaffold inspection
A two-day Scaffold Inspection course with a separate refresher. Inspection of scaffolding is a legal requirement before first use, every seven days thereafter, and after anything likely to have affected its stability — so a competent inspector is a standing need on most sites rather than a one-off. Holding the competence in house avoids waiting on a third party each week.

Who needs the scaffold inspection course?
Anyone appointed to carry out the statutory inspections on a scaffold — typically a site supervisor or manager rather than the scaffolder. The two-day course covers basic scaffold types and what to look for; it does not qualify anyone to erect or alter scaffolding, which is a separate CISRS route. If your inspections are currently being done by the erecting contractor, bringing the competence in house gives you an independent check.
