Scaffolding and Rigging Qualifications

NVQ qualifications in Accessing Operations and Rigging are the recognised route for scaffolders, covering the erection, alteration and dismantling of access structures. Level 2 is the scaffolding qualification leading to a blue CSCS Skilled Worker card. Level 3 adds complex structures and offshore access work and leads to the gold CSCS Advanced Craft card. Both are assessed in the workplace from evidence produced by your normal duties, with site visits where the qualification requires them.
