Our ECITB CCNSG National Safety Passport course is a two-day classroom course providing the safety awareness training required for access to most engineering construction sites in the UK. The CCNSG Safety Passport is widely required by principal contractors across the engineering construction sector.
Who Should Attend
This course is for anyone working on engineering construction sites, including contractors, sub-contractors, maintenance personnel and site visitors who need a recognised safety passport. There are no formal entry requirements, though delegates need a reasonable standard of English to complete the assessment.

- Health and safety law and your responsibilities
- Risk assessment and safe systems of work
- Common site hazards including working at height, confined spaces and electricity
- Manual handling, COSHH and personal protective equipment
- Fire safety, emergency procedures and permit to work systems
- Behavioural safety and personal responsibility
Certification
Successful delegates receive an ECITB CCNSG National Safety Passport, valid for three years. Before it expires you can renew with the one-day CCNSG Renewal course.
Delivery Method
Classroom delivery at our training centre: Unit 9 Snape Lane Industrial Estate, Harworth, Doncaster, DN11 8SP. The course fee includes registration, examination, certification, publications and audits, together with site facilities and administration.

How long is the passport valid?
Three years from the date of successful completion.
What happens if my passport has expired?
If your passport has lapsed you will need to complete the full two-day course again rather than the renewal.
Is there an exam?
Yes. The course includes an assessment which must be passed to receive the passport.
Do you offer group bookings?
Yes. Group bookings are available on request. Contact us to arrange.
For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
