CPCS A09A Forward Tipping Dumper Wheeled (Experienced Operator) in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
This two-day refresher course is for operators who already work with wheeled forward-tipping dumpers and need CPCS A09A certification. Training focuses on ironing out bad habits and preparing you for the technical test rather than teaching the machine from scratch.
If you have limited or no experience of the machine, book the five-day novice course instead. If you have recently gained a comparable qualification under another accreditation scheme, the test-only option will be the cheaper route.
Delivery Method
Delivered at the accredited training centre at Rings End, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 4DE. CPCS courses can only be held at an accredited centre and cannot be delivered at your own premises.
Course Duration
2 days, including your test day
Course Criteria
- You must have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment touch screen test within the previous two years.
- Recommended for delegates who are already experienced with the machine.
Course Content
On completion you will be able to:
- Operate the dumper to a minimum standard
- Fit and operate ancillary equipment
- Site the dumper safely and efficiently

- Prepare the dumper for travelling on the public highway
- Understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine
- Apply all necessary safety precautions
- Understand how diesel engines work and how the various parts of the machine operate
