About the CPCS MEWP Boom Course in Kirkby in Ashfield

This CPCS MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Boom course is aimed at people who require the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely operate a MEWP Boom (cherry picker) on construction sites. Successful candidates will be awarded the CPCS red trained operator card.

Certification

CPCS Trained Operator Card (red card) on passing the CPCS technical tests, valid for two years. After gaining on-site experience, completion of an NVQ Level 2 qualifies the holder for the blue CPCS Competence Card, renewable every five years.

Entry Requirements

Learners must have passed the Operatives Health, Safety and Environment Test within the last 2 years prior to course start date. Good understanding of spoken and written English.
