Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) in Camden

Emergency First Aid at Work is the one-day workplace qualification for lower-risk environments such as offices, shops and similar premises. It qualifies a nominated first aider to manage an emergency until professional help arrives — an unresponsive casualty, choking, severe bleeding, shock and the recovery position.

Whether one-day EFAW is sufficient, or the three-day First Aid at Work course is required, is determined by your organisation's first aid needs assessment rather than by headcount alone. Higher-risk settings such as construction and manufacturing normally need the longer qualification.

Course Location

This classroom course is delivered in Camden, Greater London, NW1 3HB. Sessions run from 09:45 to 17:00.

Siren Training was founded by firefighters in 2012 and has grown into a national provider with a team of more than 250 instructors — paramedics, NHS clinicians, former police and armed forces personnel, and psychologists. That background shows in how the courses are taught: the emphasis is on what people actually do in the first few minutes of an emergency, rather than on working through a syllabus. Training covers workplace first aid, mental health first aid, fire safety and workplace conduct, delivered in the classroom and live online across the UK and Ireland.
