Who Should Attend

Anyone working in the water treatment or construction industries who may come into contact with potable water. The scheme is a requirement for access to clean water sites and the clean water network — known as Restricted Operations — including service reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment works, wells, springs, boreholes, and work on water mains and service pipes.

Assessment

The National Water Hygiene Test.

Certification

Successful delegates receive the EUSR National Water Hygiene card, valid for three years. The price includes EUSR registration and the virtual card, which is accessible on a mobile phone; plastic cards can be ordered on request.

Good to Know

The scheme was developed in partnership with all the UK water companies, which is why it is accepted across the industry rather than by individual employers. Without it you will not get onto a clean water site.
