What is the NATAS Fire Warden Course?
RoSPA Approved, HSE Standard Risk Assessment course and training.
The Fire Warden course aims to teach you your responsibilities as a fire warden and how to uphold fire safety in the workplace. Upon completion, you will understand your role and responsibilities as a fire warden, how to carry out a fire risk assessment, what measures can be implemented to minimise the risk of fire, what a fire plan is, how to create a PEEP, how to carry out a fire drill, and what to do during a genuine emergency evacuation.

Course Content
This online Fire Warden course is split into six sections and will give you an understanding of what can cause fire, fire safety practices, and how and when to safely fight fires if they start. You will also learn about your role in creating a fire plan and carrying out evacuation procedures.
The six sections of this Fire warden course are:
- Introduction to fire warden training
- Understanding fire
- Fire risk assessments
- Fire safety arrangements
- Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs)
- Fire evacuation procedures
Assessment
Delegates must obtain 80% to pass the course online, which is the equivalent of 2 wrong answers. Any delegates that did not obtain 80% have 3 attempts to resit and pass the course, delegates that have no passed after 3 attempts must purchase an additional license.
Certification
This Fire Warden online course is approved by RoSPA and the HSE.
