The Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety is completed as you work, so you will be fitting it in alongside your pre-existing commitments. On average, this NVQ takes around 12 weeks to complete, depending on your pace and how much time you have to spare.

Develop and implement effective communication systems in H&S


Develop and maintain individual and organisational H&S competence


Identify, assess and control H&S risks


Develop and implement proactive monitoring systems for H&S


Develop and implement reactive monitoring systems for H&S


Develop and implement H&S emergency response systems


Develop and implement H&S review systems


Maintain knowledge of improvements to influence H&S

There are no formal entry requirements in terms of qualifications, however, you must be working in the industry. Before you are accepted on to this course you will be required to complete a Skill Scan. If you are accepted you will also need to provide photographic ID.
