CITB Site Safety Plus and First Aid Training — Ellesmere Port and Online

Common Sense Safety Solutions runs the CITB Site Safety Plus range from Ellesmere Port, with the core courses also available live online. Having the same qualification both ways is the practical part — a supervisor can attend in person while a site team completes the same course remotely, with identical certificates either way.

Site management — SMSTS
The five-day CITB SMSTS in classroom at Ellesmere Port, with the two-day refresher available both in classroom and live online. SMSTS lasts five years and the refresher must be taken before expiry.
Site supervision — SSSTS

Classroom or online — does it matter?
For CITB Site Safety Plus, no. CITB approved remote delivery and the certificate, card and validity are identical. Online is instructor-led at a fixed time with other delegates, not self-paced. The practical difference is a day of travel saved against the informal exchange with people from other sites — which some delegates value more than others.
