CITB Site Safety, Temporary Works and SEATS — Derbyshire and Online

Essential Site Skills covers the CITB range from Ilkeston with most courses also live online, including both temporary works qualifications in classroom and remote formats. They also run SEATS — the site environmental scheme — and EUSR water hygiene, giving a wider spread than a pure site safety centre.

Site safety management — CITB
SMSTS, SSSTS and Health and Safety Awareness, all live online with an instructor. See all CITB courses.
Temporary works — classroom or online
CITB Temporary Works Coordinator in classroom at Ilkeston and live online, and Temporary Works Supervisor both ways too. Having both roles available in both formats is unusual — most centres run one or the other. Temporary works is a recurring source of serious structural failure, which is why BS 5975 sets out a formal control process.
SEATS — environmental awareness
The CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme, live online. SEATS covers environmental duties on site — waste, pollution prevention, protected species and habitats, nuisance. Fewer providers run it than the safety courses, and it is increasingly asked for on projects with planning or environmental conditions attached.
Water hygiene and face fit
EUSR National Water Hygiene, the blue card, live online. Plus Face Fit Train the Tester in classroom at Ilkeston, qualifying your own staff to fit test RPE rather than buying it in. See all EUSR courses.
