CITB Site Safety Schemes and Workplace First Aid — West Yorkshire and Live Online

OJ Health and Safety Solutions has been training West Yorkshire employers since 2007, working out of Ossett and covering Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and the wider region. The CITB site safety schemes run live online, so delegates can attend from anywhere in the UK without travel; first aid runs in the classroom at their own training centre. All courses can also be delivered in-house at your own premises.

CITB SMSTS — site management
The five-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme, for site managers, project managers, agents and supervisors stepping up into management. Covers legal duties, risk assessment, safe systems of work, managing contractors, and monitoring site performance. Delivered live online over five consecutive days, 08:00–16:30. CITB SSSTS — site supervision
The two-day Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme, for supervisors, team leaders, foremen and anyone about to take on supervisory duties. Covers supervisor responsibilities under health and safety law, CDM, risk assessments and method statements, toolbox talks, and the practical topics supervisors deal with daily — working at height, manual handling, hazardous substances and asbestos awareness. First aid — Highfield accredited
Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), a one-day qualification for nominated workplace first aiders in lower-risk environments. Covers primary survey, unresponsive casualties, CPR and AED use, choking, bleeding, shock, burns and seizures. Delivered in the classroom at the Ossett training centre. The three-day First Aid at Work qualification is also available for higher-risk workplaces. Browse all first aid courses.
IOSH and management-level health and safety
IOSH courses for staff at every level, from workforce awareness through to supervisor and manager qualifications, alongside Level 2 and Level 3 health and safety awards. The Level 3 qualification is aimed at supervisors and managers and is one route to demonstrating the competent person duty. Browse all IOSH courses.
In-house and bespoke delivery
Every course in the range can be delivered on-site at your own premises, on dates that fit around your rota rather than a fixed public schedule. Bespoke courses can also be developed where an off-the-shelf syllabus does not match the work. Worth considering once you have more than a handful of delegates to put through.
