CITB SMSTS, SSSTS and HSA Courses Online
SMAS Worksafe is a Plymouth-based health and safety compliance business, part of The Citation Group, providing SSIP accreditation, PAS 91 and supply chain assessments for contractors. It also runs CITB Site Safety Plus courses, taught live online over Zoom by its own CITB-qualified instructors, so supervisors and site managers can train from anywhere in the UK without travelling to a venue. Courses run 9am to 5pm, with frequent start dates throughout the year.
SMSTS and SMSTS Refresher
The five-day
CITB SMSTS course is for site managers and those moving into site management, covering health and safety law, CDM 2015, risk control and site leadership. Managers renewing a certificate can take the two-day
SMSTS Refresher before it expires. Both lead to a five-year CITB certificate.
SSSTS and SSSTS Refresher
The two-day
CITB SSSTS course gives supervisors the health, safety and welfare knowledge they need to run their part of a site safely. The one-day
SSSTS Refresher renews the certificate for a further five years.
Health and Safety Awareness (HSA)
The one-day
CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is for new entrants to construction and is accepted as the health and safety qualification for the Green CSCS Labourer card.
How the online courses work
Every course is a live, tutor-led virtual classroom on Zoom rather than self-paced e-learning. You will need a computer with a reliable broadband connection, a webcam and a microphone. Exams are taken at the end of the course, and delegates booked within 14 days of the start date receive their materials as an eBook. Browse all
