CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SSSTS-R) Course in Knowsley, Merseyside

The CITB SSSTS Refresher course is for those who already hold the SSSTS certificate and wish to update their knowledge and skills in line with current legislation. Successful attendees will receive a new SSSTS certificate, which is valid for 5 years. The course gives an overview of the legislative changes that may impact their workplace which have taken place since completing the 2-day SSSTS.

Prerequisites

The qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner will need to complete the full course again to re-qualify for a further three years.

• The refresher course is only for delegates who have previously passed the 2-day SSSTS or subsequent refresher course, and hold a valid SSSTS certificate. Evidence must be provided to the training provider of their eligibility. Please email a copy of the current certificate at your earliest convenience after booking onto the refresher course.
  • If a copy of the certificate cannot be provided, CITB's Online Card Checker can be used to establish if a delegate currently holds a valid SSSTS certificate. Please use the card checker to obtain a screenshot showing the in-date SSSTS/SSSTS Refresher qualification on the delegate's profile and email it at your earliest convenience after booking onto the refresher course.
• If an individual cannot be located on the system and no evidence of their certificate can be found, they will have to attend the full 2-day SSSTS course.
• Failure to attend the refresher course prior to the expiry of an existing certificate will require delegates to re-enter the scheme by completing the full SSSTS course if they wish to remain in the scheme.

What to Bring

• All delegates must bring photographic ID (e.g. driving licence or passport).
• All delegates must bring their NI number.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
