This 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course equips participants with essential First-Aid skills to confidently respond to emergencies in the workplace.

It is designed for individuals who want to receive training in Emergency First Aid at Work. It is especially suitable for nominated first raiders in smaller, low-risk working environments, such as small offices. The Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to provide employees with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and stabilise a casualty until professional medical help arrives.

We also offer an e-learning refresher for existing Emergency First Aiders who are looking to renew their qualification.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course

This 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course satisfies the requirements set by the regulatory body for First Aid, otherwise known as the Health and Safety Executive or ‘HSE.’ As the minimum level of First Aid training to comply with the HSE regulations imposed by the UK government, this course is Ofqual accredited. The regulations require employers to provide immediate attention to employees in the event of an injury or sudden illness.

Who is the Emergency First Aid Course For?

This 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid. It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments, such as small offices. The course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.

This course providesbasic life saving first aid skillsand knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:

• Adult resuscitation (CPR)
• Burns and scalds
• Choking adult
• Communication and casualty care
• Defibrillator prompts and how to respond (theory based)
• Defibrillator pad placement (theory based)
• Minor and severe bleeding
• Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
• Seizures
• Shock
• Unresponsive adult

Course Structure

Marble Training will provide you with revision and study material for your First Aid course.

The course is completed over a 1 day period, and throughout the day your trainer will deliver a set lesson plan and course material.

There will be continuous observation on the practical exercises throughout the day, and in some cases there may be some small written tasks to be completed.

Once you have purchased the course, you will be sent an email confirming your booking and a login email to access our online portal.

Once you have logged in, you can find your course joining instructions with information, such as; date, time, address, parking etc to your First Aid course with Marble Training.

Entry Requirements

1. Please bring in-date and valid Photo ID to your course, this is required for your registration.
2. All learners need a basic command of the English Language, this does not mean English must be your first language but you must be able to understand and communicate with the trainer regarding the topics and instructions being discussed.
3. There are also practical elements to this course which include learners needing to get up and down from the floor in order to complete the practical exercises which are part of this course.
