The IWFM Level 5 Diploma in Facilities Management is the most comprehensive qualification at this level, designed for specialist facilities managers and those working at middle or senior management level who are responsible for specialised and complex functions. It is also suitable for professionals currently working in the industry who aspire to move into such a role.

Delivered entirely by online distance learning, the qualification develops the skills needed to complete complex tasks, take responsibility for planning and delivering solutions, and deepen specialised knowledge of the workplace and facilities management profession across a broader range of subject areas than the Award or Certificate.

How the Course Works

You will be assigned a dedicated account manager who provides full support throughout the qualification, starting with a video induction and detailed assessment plan. For each unit, you complete a draft assignment which is reviewed by an internal IWFM assessor, with feedback and any corrective actions provided by a professional IWFM marker before your final version is submitted to IWFM for marking. This process is repeated for every unit until the qualification is complete, and it has produced a 100% pass rate for learners on this programme.

No. Certification is valid for life and does not expire.

What can I progress to afterwards?
Natural progression from the Level 5 Diploma is to a Level 6 qualification in facilities management.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
