Delivery Method

NVQ – assessed in the workplace. There is no classroom attendance, no day release and no written exam. Evidence from your everyday role goes into an electronic portfolio that you can add to from the office, site or home, and your assessor can support you remotely, face to face or with a blend of both.

Course Duration

Many learners complete in 4–8 weeks, depending on their experience, availability and evidence, and a fast-track option is available. You can also work at your own pace.

Course Content

The qualification looks at how contracting operations are managed: contracts and procurement, cost control and commercial reporting, programming and scheduling, and planning the people and resources a project needs. Your assessor confirms the unit combination with you at induction.

Is there an exam?

How long does the NVQ take?
