Delivery Method

NVQ – evidence comes from the projects you are working on, assessed remotely, in person or both. No classroom sessions, day release or written tests.

Work through it at your own pace, or fast-track if you already have strong evidence available.

Course Content

Site Technical Support covers the technical side of keeping a job running: setting out, checking work against drawings and specifications, gathering and passing on technical information, and supporting quality control. You are also assessed on planning work, health and safety, cost control and project co-ordination.

Assessment

• A qualified assessor supports you through each stage
• Professional discussion
• Evidence such as setting-out records, quality checks, RAMS and site diaries
• Observation on site or by photo and video
• Witness statements from supervisors or colleagues

Certification

ProQual Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations (qualification number 603/0357/8). A CITB Specialist Supervisory Health, Safety and Environment test is included, plus CSCS card application support and a temporary card if required.
