PASMA Combined Low Level Access & Towers for Users in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

This combined PASMA course covers both low level access units and mobile access towers in a single day, qualifying operatives to assemble, inspect, use, alter and dismantle both safely.

Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005, assembling, dismantling or altering a mobile access tower may only be carried out by a competent person, or by someone being trained under the supervision of a competent person. The combined course suits anyone whose work involves both podium-style low level units and full mobile towers, which is most maintenance, fit-out and building services work.

Delivery Method

Delivered at the training centre at Rings End, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 4DE, a short distance from March and Peterborough.

Course Content

• Relevant legislation, including the Work at Height Regulations 2005
• Hazards associated with low level access units and mobile access towers
• Selecting the right equipment for the task and the working environment
• Assembling, altering and dismantling low level access units
• Assembling, altering and dismantling mobile access towers safely
• Pre-use inspection and ongoing checks
• Safe use, including moving towers and working platform limits

Assessment

Delegates are assessed by written test and practical demonstration during the course.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a PASMA photocard valid for five years, recognised across UK construction and industrial sites.
