CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS)

The CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS) course is a training program designed to enhance awareness of environmental issues within the construction industry. It aims to educate site managers, supervisors, and workers about the environmental impacts of construction activities and the best practices to mitigate them. The course covers topics such as waste management, pollution prevention, sustainable construction methods, and the legal and regulatory requirements related to environmental management on construction sites. By completing the CITB SEATS course, participants gain the knowledge needed to contribute to environmentally responsible construction practices and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

SEATS is an environmental add-on rather than a safety qualification, so it does not replace SSSTS or SMSTS for anyone supervising or managing site safety.
