Classroom Courses
Envico lists 3,200+ scheduled classroom courses at venues across the UK, from accredited training providers. Classroom is still the format most recognised qualifications require, and the only route for anything involving practical assessment — first aid, plant and access equipment, confined spaces and the CITB site safety schemes among them. Choose a course, a town and a date, and book the place at the checkout.
Envico only advertises dates a provider has confirmed. If nothing is showing where and when you need it, that means nothing is currently scheduled rather than nothing is possible — tell us the requirement and we will take it to providers as evidenced demand.

Use the filters on this page to narrow by provider, price or location. Weekend and day-release dates are tagged where providers offer them.

Training a group? A course run for your organisation alone is usually cheaper per head than sending people out — request a group quotation. All prices shown exclude VAT.
Before you book a classroom place
Four things catch people out, and all four are avoidable by reading the course page before you pay rather than the joining instructions afterwards.
The postcode is on the listing
Every classroom course shows the town, county and venue postcode before you book — so you can place each delegate on a course near them rather than sending everyone to one location. Three people in three counties can attend three different dates, quoted together on one order if you want them on a single invoice.
Identification on the day
Many providers require photo identification, and awarding bodies increasingly insist on it — the CITB site safety schemes in particular. A delegate turning up without it can be refused entry and lose the place. The requirement is stated in the joining instructions.
What is actually included
Refreshments, lunch, parking and course materials vary by provider and venue rather than by course. Where a provider states them, Envico lists them. Where the listing is silent, ask before you assume — particularly on multi-day courses where parking costs mount.
If you cannot pay by card
Some organisations need a purchase order raised or an invoice before anything is committed. Ask and we will issue a written, itemised quotation to circulate for approval, invoiced and settled ahead of the course. Everyone else is quicker booking straight through the checkout.
Transfer and cancellation terms
Your booking is governed by Envico's terms and conditions, which apply consistently whichever provider delivers the course — so you are working to one set of rules rather than a different one per booking. Name changes are usually straightforward; transfers and cancellations carry charges that increase as the date approaches. Tell us early if a delegate becomes uncertain.
Working out where to send people
On a single delegate the nearest date usually wins. Past three or four people the sums change, and travel starts to cost more than the training.
Scheduled courses suit you when
You have one to a handful of people to train
Someone needs certifying soon rather than on a set date
Numbers do not justify filling a course of your own
You want delegates learning alongside people from other organisations
The course needs a venue with specialist equipment
A course of your own suits you when
Whole shifts or crews need the same certificate
Travel and overnight costs approach the course fee
You are sending people to several venues for one subject
Releasing staff to travel disrupts the work
You want the date to fit your programme, not a schedule

Classroom course questions
When will I receive joining instructions?
They are issued by the training provider and normally arrive one to two weeks before the course, though this varies and can be closer to the date on a late booking. They cover the venue address, start and finish times, parking, what to bring and any identification required. If your course is within a few days and nothing has arrived, send us your order number and we will chase it.
What happens if the provider cancels the course?
Courses are occasionally cancelled where numbers fall short. If that happens Envico handles it with you directly, offers alternative dates from the provider's schedule where possible, and processes a refund if none suit. You are not left to negotiate with the provider yourself. It is one of the practical reasons to book through an intermediary rather than direct.
Can I change the delegate name or move to another date?
Name changes are usually straightforward and often free. Transfers and cancellations are covered by Envico's terms and conditions, which apply to every booking regardless of which provider is delivering — one consistent position rather than a different one each time. Charges increase as the course date approaches, so contact us with your order number as early as you can. The earlier the request, the more options exist.
Are weekend or day-release dates available?
For some courses, yes. Weekend dates and day-release formats are offered by certain providers on certain subjects, and are tagged where available so you can filter for them on this page. Multi-day qualifications are more likely to offer day release than short courses. If you cannot see a format that works around your shifts, tell us the constraint and we will find out what is possible.
How far ahead should I book?
For popular qualifications in busy regions, three to six weeks gives a genuine choice of dates and venues. Shorter notice is often possible, especially on courses that run frequently. If you are working to a site start date or a card expiry, book with room to spare — a course that fills leaves you waiting for the next one.
Nothing is scheduled where I need it. What now?
Envico does not advertise dates that have not been confirmed, so an empty schedule is real rather than a display problem. Send us the course, the region, the number of people and the month, and we will take it to providers as evidenced demand. A specific requirement is a considerably stronger case for scheduling than a general enquiry, and a number of currently running dates started that way.
Is a classroom certificate different from an online one?
Where a qualification is offered in both formats the certificate is identical, because content and assessment are set by the awarding body rather than by delivery method. What differs is which qualifications are available online at all. Anything requiring practical demonstration or physical assessment can only be certificated in a classroom.
Do you deliver these courses yourselves?
No. Envico is an independent training intermediary and has arranged workplace training since 2003. Every classroom course is delivered and certificated by the accredited provider named on the listing, at their venue and by their instructor. That independence is what allows Envico to list courses from hundreds of providers and recommend on the basis of what suits the requirement.
All prices exclude VAT, which is applied at checkout. Course content, assessment requirements and certificate validity are set by the awarding bodies and providers, as are venue arrangements and cancellation terms. Envico Limited is an independent training intermediary, ISO 9001 registered under certificate number 13841; we arrange training with accredited providers and do not deliver or accredit courses ourselves.
