First Aid with Defibrillator and Live Fire Training in Doncaster
ER Training delivers emergency response training from Doncaster with defibrillator training built into every first aid qualification and live fire practice in the fire marshal course. The paediatric course runs as a blended programme, with theory completed beforehand to shorten time in the classroom.
First aid with defibrillator
First Aid at Work, its requalification, and
Emergency First Aid at Work — all including AED training. Survival from cardiac arrest falls sharply with each minute before defibrillation, so training first aiders on the device itself rather than treating it as an optional extra matters.
Paediatric first aid — blended
Paediatric First Aid with defibrillator, delivered as a blended course. Theory is completed online beforehand, which shortens the classroom day while keeping the hands-on practice that first aid genuinely requires.
Live fire training
Fire Marshal / Fire Warden including live fire training — delegates discharge extinguishers on real fires rather than watching a demonstration. Selecting and operating an extinguisher under pressure is a physical skill. See all
fire safety courses.
Workplace qualifications
Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace (RQF), Level 2 Mental Health in the Workplace, and
IOSH Managing Safely.
How many first aiders do we need?
There is no fixed number in law. The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations require an assessment of first aid needs, taking account of workplace hazards, headcount, shift patterns, site layout and distance from emergency services. A low-hazard office reaches a different answer from a workshop. The assessment should be written down and revisited when the workplace changes.
