IPAF 3a Operator (Mobile Scissor)

The IPAF 3A Operator course is the industry-standard training programme for anyone who operates mobile vertical (3a) MEWPs, such as scissor lifts. Delivered in-person by IPAF-approved instructors, this course covers essential topics including safe operation, pre-use inspection, hazard awareness, emergency procedures, and working at height legislation. Delegates complete both a theory test and a practical assessment. Successful candidates receive the IPAF PAL (Powered Access Licence) Card, valid for 5 years. Ideal for construction workers, facilities staff, and maintenance teams who require proof of competence when working with scissor lifts.
