Product Management, Marketing and AI Certification — Live Online or Classroom

Pragmatic Institute has trained product professionals since 1993 and has issued over 250,000 certifications. The range here splits in two: eight core product management and marketing courses, each available live online or in the classroom, and a newer set of AI courses aimed at product roles specifically rather than at engineers. This is career development for people who build and take products to market, not workplace compliance training.

The core product framework — eight courses
Foundations covers product management as a discipline; Focus covers strategy; Build covers delivery; Market and Launch cover product marketing and launch; Price covers pricing; Insight covers product data; and Design covers product design. Each is available live online or in a classroom. They are designed to stack rather than compete — Foundations first, then whichever of the others matches the part of the role you actually own.
Product Operations
A separate course covering product operations — the function that keeps research, data, tooling and process working across a product organisation rather than inside one team. It is a comparatively new discipline, and the course suits organisations large enough that their product managers are losing time to coordination rather than spending it on customers.
AI for product roles — five courses
AI for Product Managers, AI for Product Marketers, AI in Your Product, AI Agents for Product Professionals, and Vibe Coding for Problem Validation — all live online — plus an Intro to AI for Product Professionals as self-paced e-learning. These address using AI in the product role itself: research, validation, positioning and shipping AI features. Vibe Coding for Problem Validation is the most current of them — building throwaway prototypes to test a problem before committing engineering time.
Where to start
Foundations if product management is new to you or your job title changed before your training did. Focus if you own strategy and roadmap. Market or Launch if you sit on the go-to-market side. Insight if decisions in your organisation are being made on opinion rather than data. The AI courses assume you already know the product role and want to apply AI within it — they are not an introduction to product management with AI attached.
Live online or classroom?
The eight core courses run both ways and the certification is the same either route. Live online keeps the instructor and the fixed timetable without travel, which matters for a distributed product team. Classroom suits organisations putting a whole team through together, where the discussion between colleagues is a large part of the value. The AI courses are live online only, and the introductory AI course is self-paced e-learning.
