Our CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is a two-day classroom course for supervisors, team leaders, gangers and those preparing to step into a supervisory role on site. It gives you a practical understanding of what supervising safely involves day to day.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for site supervisors, team leaders, gangers, foremen and experienced operatives moving into supervision. There are no formal entry requirements.

Certification
Successful delegates receive a CITB SSSTS certificate, valid for five years. Before it expires you can renew with the one-day SSSTS Refresher rather than repeating the full course.

Classroom delivery at our training centre: Unit 9 Snape Lane Industrial Estate, Harworth, Doncaster, DN11 8SP. We are an approved member of the CITB Training Provider Network. Online courses and group bookings are also available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is SSSTS a prerequisite for SMSTS?
No. You can go straight to SMSTS if your role calls for it, though many delegates supervise on site first.
Do I need supervisory experience to attend?
No. The course is suitable for people preparing to move into supervision as well as those already doing the job.
How long is the certificate valid?
Five years from the date of successful completion.
Do you offer group bookings?
Yes. Group bookings and online delivery are available on request. Contact us to arrange.
For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
