What is the Emergency First Aid at Work Course?

A one-day, Ofqual-regulated Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course. Depending on the size of your company and your first aid needs assessment, you may need additional emergency first aiders to work alongside your existing first aiders – or, if your risk is assessed as low, EFAW-trained staff may be the more suitable cover on their own.

Who is the Emergency First Aid at Work Course Suitable For?

Staff nominated as emergency first aiders, either to support fully trained first aiders in a larger workplace or to provide first aid cover in a lower-risk one. Delegates must be aged 16 or over to receive the certificate. Every workplace is different, so the right level of cover should follow from the employer's own first aid needs assessment.

What's Included in the Emergency First Aid at Work Course?

A day of tutor-led training at the provider's training centre, with continuous assessment and a fully accredited certificate on success.

Continuous assessment by the trainer throughout the day.

Certification

Successful delegates aged 16 and over receive a fully accredited Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.

After completing the course, learners can order their certificate directly from the provider.
