Safeguarding in Exeter, Devon

This one-day course gives learners a clear understanding of how to recognise, respond to and report safeguarding concerns across a range of settings.

Learners develop an understanding of the different types of abuse and the signs and indicators that may suggest someone is at risk. The course covers the importance of early intervention, appropriate reporting procedures and maintaining accurate records.

It also covers relevant UK legislation and guidance, including safeguarding responsibilities under frameworks such as the Children Act and the Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance, along with the importance of professional boundaries and the part each individual plays in safeguarding.

Delivery Method

Delivered at the Champion Training Solutions training centre, Thorverton Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter, EX2 8GN. This course can also be run in-house at your own premises.
