This CITB accredited half day course covers all aspects of the safe use and fitting of abrasive wheels, including selection, mounting, inspection and the hazards associated with grinding and cutting equipment.
Who is the Course For?
Anyone who fits abrasive wheels to work equipment, or who uses work equipment fitted with abrasive wheels, should take this course in order to comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

Completion of the Course
Candidates take a short written test and receive a course handout summarising the topics covered. Successful candidates receive a training certificate and photo ID card.
