- Safety in the use of abrasive wheels HSG17.
- Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1998.
- The correct use of PPE.
- Hazards arising from use.
- Methods of marking.
- Methods of storing and also handling & transporting.
- Mounting procedures and precautions.
- Diamond Wheels.
- Electric and Petrol Machines.
- Safe use of the machines and equipment.
- In conclusion, question papers with feedback from course delegates.
Requirements
A good level of written and spoken English is required to successfully complete this course.
Assessment
The information on this course is delivered through a series of cases studies, group discussions and individual presentations. At the end of the 1 day candidates will be required to pass a multiple choice test.
What is Awarded After Completion of the Course?
Once the course has been completed candidates will receive a 3 year certificate.
