CAT and Genny Training (HSG47 Compliant) Course in Farnham, Surrey
The CAT and Genny training course is for site managers, supervisors, engineers and anyone tasked with locating underground cables. In addition, the Cable Avoidance (CAT and Genny) training course provides Operatives and Supervisors with the skills and knowledge to carry out cable avoidance work.

The information on this course is delivered through a series of cases studies, group discussions and individual presentations.

Course Content
- Basic principles of the location and also the avoidance of underground services.
- Hazard identification and the risks associated with them.
- Reading and interpreting site plans.
- Practical use of equipment.
Requirements
A good level of written and spoken English is required to successfully complete this course.
Assessment
At the end of the 1/2 day candidates will be required to pass a multiple choice test.
What is Awarded After Completion of the Course?
Once the course has been completed candidates will receive a 3 year certificate.
