What You'll Learn

The course covers the legal duties, responsibilities and risk management processes needed to carry out the Temporary Works Supervisor role under BS 5975:2019, including how the role relates to Temporary Works Coordinators and designers. It gives particular emphasis to managing the risks of temporary works — both safety and business risks — and to the four Cs: communication, co-operation, co-ordination and competency.

Assessment

A theoretical assessment. Delegates who do not pass may be offered a re-sit in line with CITB policy.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a CITB-approved Temporary Works Supervisor certificate.

Entry Requirements

Delegates are expected to have a good standard of spoken and written English, as required by the scheme rules.
