Classroom-based and tutor-led, in a supportive face-to-face setting. The same qualification is also available as live instructor-led online training, and both formats meet identical MHFA England certification standards.

Certification

On completion you become a certified Mental Health First Aider, accredited by MHFA England — the national authority on mental health first aid in the UK.

Renewal

The certificate does not formally expire, but MHFA England recommend refresher training every three years to stay current.
