What the Level 2 Cladding Occupations NVQ involves

Delivery Method

Work-based NVQ with no written test or exam. A qualified assessor works with you using examples from your own job, with remote or face-to-face support.

Duration

There is no fixed length. Experienced installers can fast-track the NVQ, or take more time to fit it around work.

Course Content

Your evidence covers real cladding tasks such as preparing surfaces, installing fixings, positioning insulation and finishing cladding, across straight runs, curves and awkward angles on sheeting and rainscreen systems.

Assessment

• Professional discussion with your assessor
• Observation on site, or through video and photo evidence
• Work-based evidence such as RAMS, job logs and site diaries
• Witness statements from supervisors or colleagues

Certification

ProQual Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations, awarded once your portfolio has been completed and verified. Qualification number 601/8034/1.
