What the roof tiler NVQ covers

Delivery Method

NVQ, assessed in your workplace by a qualified assessor, with support given remotely or face to face. There is no classroom attendance.

Course Duration

Flexible. You can fast-track if your evidence is ready, or take longer to fit around your work.

Course Content

Assessment centres on tiling work: setting out, battening and underlay, fixing plain and interlocking tiles, and forming details such as ridges, hips, valleys and verges. Mandatory units on site health, safety and welfare and productive working practices complete the qualification.
