Around one in four people in the UK are likely to experience mental health difficulties each year. Mental health matters as much as physical health, yet many people are less sure how to support colleagues, friends or relatives who are struggling.
Over this one-day course, learners develop an understanding of why positive mental health and wellbeing matter at work, and the part everyone plays in recognising mental health issues in the workplace. The course covers promoting positive mental health, common mental health conditions, and mental health action plans at work.

- Awareness of common conditions including anxiety and depression

Certification
Successful learners receive the Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace qualification.
