Four Days of Practical Fire Risk Management Training
Course Overview
A specialist NEBOSH qualification that teaches you how to identify fire hazards, assess fire risks and put effective controls in place. It focuses on practical fire safety management in low- to medium-risk workplaces, based on current UK fire legislation.

Course Content
Unit FSC1 – Fire Safety and Risk Management:
- Managing fire safety
- Principles of fire and explosion
- Fuel, oxygen and ignition sources and control measures
- Fire protection in buildings
- Safety of people in the event of a fire
- Fire safety risk assessment
Unit FSC2 – Fire Safety Practical Application: a practical fire risk assessment of a real or realistic workplace.
Assessment / Examination
FSC1 is an open-book written examination marked by NEBOSH examiners, taken after the taught days on a date confirmed with your booking. The FSC2 fire risk assessment is submitted within 10 working days of the FSC1 exam.
Course Duration
4 days, Monday to Thursday, plus time afterwards to complete the FSC2 practical assessment.

Delivered in a classroom at Technology House, High Post Business Park, Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4 6AT – just off the A345 between Amesbury and Salisbury.
